My 2nd entry. The figure of Justice on top of the courthouse with some fancy details on the building itself. The clock is a little rusty but it keeps good time. Also taken on Jan. 7, 2021.

Yeah, you've figured. These SS-pipe frames sticking out below the windows are for drying laundry. The photo was taken yesterday by a side of a residential compound in Shanghai Gubei area (aka K-Town).

The architect and builder on this new house used the illusion of fake weathered wood, invisible shingles, and non-reflective glass to fool the viewer into believing that it's very old and falling down. Taken Jan 13, 2021.

Welcome back Rifleair.

I do like the shot.

But, ah,
"Rules:
1. The image must be taken within the contest month; the date the photo was taken must be stated in the post (not relying on the exif)."

The idea is to go out in search of something that meets the subject-theme.
Hi, 11/01/21 is how most of the world abbreviates January 11, 2021.

Barry (who personally prefers 2021-01-11 as that's an ISO standard, and it sorts well.)

Hi, 11/01/21 is how most of the world abbreviates January 11, 2021.
I wouldn't say "most of the world"... but some of the world seems more accurate.
In any case, depending from where you are, 11/01/21 could be interpreted as:
November 1st 2021,
January 11, 2021
January 21, 2011
Pick your choice!

Taken today 23JAN2021, in Stratford on Avon. This building is a bank on a street corner with a spire.
To me they look like snakes slithering down the spire!
