    She stayed with them for a while after the hatching, but with so little in the way of passing food she just had to take off, then eventually didn't come back.

    Great shots and great site!....Can you tell me more about your lighting, specifically for when you use the Kiron lens.

    I'm looking for a macro lighting solution for my Vivitar 100 2.8.

    Thanks UCI. Have a look here : Post Your Set Up! - FM Forums Mine (FZ50) is also on the first page and what I use for the G1 and legacy lenses is a version of that.

    Whatever you use the principles are the same for 'good' lighting, or what you like.

    I'm very surprised that you can get such good results with the built-in flash and some parts your can get from an arts and crafts store. My hat goes off to you....stick it to those expensive ring flashes

    It doesn't exactly fit in my pocket but close, and about $400 all up for that FZ, S/H. The only disadvantage is resolution, a crop will look like a crop, noisy and lacking detail.
