Took a trip to Moscow last week, great city for photo opportunities. Especially the metro system is absolutely wonderful, although very crowded and almost impossible to get a "clean" shot... Anyway, I attach a small selection of some B&W and color shots, hope you like one or two. Mostly taken with Oly E-PL3, but there night be an occasional NEX picture in there, please forgive me...:)

    Thanks for looking!

You've done it again Pim...amazing set. For the life of me I can't pick a favorite such is the strength of the set. You really do excel at architectural/urban compositions.

Would you mind going on a little trip to Prague for us ?

Thanks Livnius. Sure, email me the Prague ticket...:)! Actually I was in Prague about six months ago, but did not have a camera with me at the time, but will very likely go back soon to shoot some pictures, it is a short and cheap flight form where I live, so definitely on the roadmap for later this year...:)

Fabulous set. Don't know why but the Train picture really does it for me - atmospheric!

Wow, what a great set of images that capture some of the stunning architecture, and infrastructure - thank you for sharing.

I bet you didn't get hassled by power hungry security guards saying you cannot take photos, or be scared to take street shots ..........unlike living in paranoid UK

In fact, it's very common in Moscow... Especially around the governmental building.

Actually I was quite surprised at the easy going nature of the security, only the inside of the countless churches was off limits for photography (at one of them I was even asked to check in my camera bag before entering), and also one time inside the Kremlin we were urged to vacate a certain area due to some rehearsals for the inauguration of Putin I believe. Apart from that security forces did not really bother us or restricted any photography.

    Nice images.
For those interested in lenses, EXIF is mostly intact. He used Nex 5N and Oly E-PL3 with Sony 18-55, Oly 40-150 and Oly 9-18.

Thanks Troll! I was gonna look up the info tonight for those interested, did not even realize the EXIF's were there...:) But yes, of the top of my head the first one was with the NEX 5N and kitlens, the rest is E-PL3 with a split between the Oly 40-150 for most of the outside shots and 9-18 for the interiors. I also brought the Panny 20mm for inside shots, but found it to be not wide enough for most of these, so ended up using the 9-18 for those (probably my favorite lens actually).
