Went down Poole Quay for an afternoon stroll. The weather was dull with rain in the air and there didn't look like there was much to photograph until I came across a group of Morris Dancers praticising outside.

I thought Morris Dancers only came in white with bells ... are these a Dorset sub-variety?

What the hell are they? They look like a bunch of football supporters.

I'd rather come face to face with a bunch of football supporters than this lot with their sticks.

I think they come in all colours and sizes/shapes!! When I was holidaying in the UK recently I came accross a Morris dancing festival.
Maybe we should start a Morris dancing thread.

So are these people missing their Morris cars or something and they're displaying their anguish over the demise of an old British marque (the coffin in the background is full of Morris parts)? Is there a Leyland dance group?
