Was that near Teller City? There is a lily pond on the road from Gould to there and it looks a lot like that. Great pics!

I ran in to some more moose this morning.
Good 'ole Tramplesaurus Rex. The moose standing in Red Rock Lake is fantastic. Looks like the east slopes of Mt Audubon in the back. A few weeks ago we encountered over ten moose on two hikes in the Neota Wilderness near Cameron Pass. A buddy had two moose stroll through his campsite in the hills near Colorado Springs last week. The population has seen a steady increase in recent years. As an avid hiker it's been really neat to see the growth, as the moose is a very cool but confident animal and certainly demands respect. Very nice photos, Boulderjoe.
