Were clear skies tonight thought I'd give it a go. Tried a lot of settings but this one seemed like the best. Wonder if iso 200 and up'd shutter would have been nicer, I'll try that next time.

Moon this evening over Sutton Coldfield, UK.
I think you might get even sharper results if you stopped down 1 or 2 EV (clicks on default settings of wheel) and boosted the ISO if necessary. My testing showed that the 100-400 benefits greatly by stopping down even a small amount (by default, one click is 1/3 of an F-stop).

Pink moon last night.

I usually don't like taking a full moon because it is flat due to the brightness. However, last night while sitting in my backyard with my family I noticed the cloud moved in just enough to make the pink color really obvious. Also it brought out that moon radiance just a tad so I grabbed my camera and attached MC20 and gave it a go.
This is a HHHR shot and I kinda like the end result :). This is in almost its original size and dimensions. I slight cropped to make it a square image.

OK, so I'm figuring that this is a shot you took from the International Space Station, showing the curvature of the Earth against the blackness of space and the moon in the foreground. Right? Very nice! :)

No wait, the ISS isn't high enough. So, you took it from Mars? Even nicer!!

Alien Moonrise over Twin Peaks - Goat Mountain. Chugach Mountains, Alaska. Photo taken from the Knik River Access along the Glenn Highway. Panasonic DMC-GX85 with Olympus DZ 50-200 SWD lens. This is not a composite image, but was just done with (extremely heavy handed, and very excessive) editing in Adobe Lightroom.

When photographing the scene, I used -2 stops exposure compensation to keep the moon from clipping too much, and then was able to edit to taste (tasteless?) in Lightroom.

April, 25, 2021, 10:22PM, Knik River between Anchorage and Wasilla, Alaska. ISO 200, 1/40 at f4.5, 200mm. Slightly cropped to correct composition error.
