Did you use any stacking?
Here's a day-after-sturgeon-moon taken through clouds that stretch from horizon to horizon, using a slightly shorter focal length (Sigma 300mm f4 HSM).
Nothing fancy, just point and shoot because I didn't want to be out in the cold for too long (it's winter here).
I didn't stack. Mine was a single exposure.
But then I did the above just for fun.....
