I was going to take my telescope out this weekend but ended up being fairly cloudy.

This is a shot of venus I took a few years ago with the E-P1 and a 4" achromatic refractor.

    Hi Guys

Managed to shoot the Moon and Venus on Saturday using an OM 135mm on a GF2 in the evening twilight.

Are you sure that second shot isn't really a white orb taken with a Fuji X10?

They're spread a bit further apart tonight, but the alignment is still dramatic.
    E-PL2 with 40-150 at 40mm, f4, 1/5 sec, ISO 200, 25% Downsize

Jupiter has a few more moons showing tonight.
From Top Left To Bottom Right they are Callisto, Ganymede, Jupiter, Io, and Europa
    E-PL2 with 40-150 at 150mm, f5.6, 1.3 sec, ISO 200, 100% Crop

This is the last night of the show as the moon is moving on into Orion and it will be raining tomorrow night.

It was quite a night for viewing the sky tonight.

Jupiter and Venus have continued to close on one another

    Orion was showing quite nicely.

    Mars was out too

and as the Moon came up

    there was Saturn
