This is a collection of shots I wasnt happy with and was about to delete,
when I thought I`d try some B&W converstions. I tried a few different things.
still getting my head round PP.

edit. The lighthouse looks strange after I upload it??? kind of looks HDR which it`s not.
I thought it looked good when I finished with it, now it looks a bit odd.

To me, it has a an other-world feel ... but I see what you mean about the HDR look.

    I like it.

Is this shot using TTL flash (HSS)? I'm trying to figure out the shinai motion 'blur'...

NO flash at all with this shot. I was just messing about with the settings that day. I`d got a number of shots I was happy with and decided to just play around with the camera.

Nice. I like 3, 4, and 5 particularly. 3 is very odd looking, and obviously over-processed, but drew me back a few times, and I like it a lot. I like the sense of motion and emotion in 4, and the framing perspective of 5.

I really like 7 for its composition. Really really like 8 for its movement and sense of fun.

Great set. Sometimes the ones we don't get "right", are the most powerful image.
