    Saw this too, really interested to see what it can produce. A possible match for Noktons?

    Interesting, but a lot of money to plunk down on an unknown lens. Like to see some reviews before spending that much.

    Perhaps. But unlike the Noktons it's actually designed for APS-C where it functions as a fast-normal.

    Dare I ask, how reputable is Mitakon? I've never heard of them, but my knowledge is not what it should be regarding lens manufacturers.

    Both the focal length and price interest me more than the Voigtlander. I'm tempted for that reason.

    Apparently Mitakon outsources to SLR Magic. This lens is not totally new as it has already been made for Sony E-mount. Here are some image samples:

    So if associated with SLR MAGIC, is this a modified CCTV lense?
