As the title says, I've recently spent a few days photographing Cambridge (MIT) and Boston, MA, with my OM-D and 75mm 1.8. I love this combination, and the 75mm has effectively replaced the 25mm on my camera as my primary lens. A bit long for some, but I like it a great deal.

First, just for fun, two from the T (subway) while waiting to head into Boston.

With those out of the way, we headed down to Kendall to photograph the famous Massachusetts Institute of Technology Stata Center (by Frank Gehry), which houses the departments of Computer Science, Philosophy, and Linguistics.

Next we hit up the Charles river, which runs along the edge of MIT's campus. It turns out there was a regatta on!

And then finally, some good old-fashioned street photography from the fall:

And three from Boston, Back Bay:

Good use of 75mm, I find it too long as a primary lens though.

Very nice! And nice fresh perspective compared to the more typical wider perspective we tend to see. My go to primary lens is the Olympus 17mm on my Panasonic GX8.

Great shots. I did my PhD (in PoliSci, graduated 2010) at MIT so a great reminder of a great place.

Wonderful shots. I lived near Boston in the late 1990s and loved the place. These brought back good memories. Thanks for posting.
