    What have you replaced the 180 with? Noticed you are selling yours with the tc-16a. I got the 180mm about a month ago and was pleased with the sharpness. Have to run a comparison soon against my 300mm ED-IF. One comment I read was that cropping pics from the 180mm gives better results than the 300mm.

    I haven't sold it yet. That's interesting because I was thinking of a 300 f4 Nikon or Canon L. The manual focus with the 16-A is hard to nail. I got a 45-175 for a good price, which is actually a good lens on the EM5. Though slower, it compares favorably to the nikon. But this Nikon is special, except for the CA.

    Mine is the f4.5 - been using it at f8 with pretty good results. See my surfin' thread earlier in this forum. Heard that the Canon FD 300mm f4 L has flat surfaces front and rear, so may have ghosting issues on digital sensors.
    Would love some apo glass... <sigh>
