What do you think about the following lenses:

    MC W-Rokkor 24mm/2.8
    MC Rokkor-PF 135mm/2.8

compared to the newer MD version. I'm thinking about sharpness, colour rendering and bokeh.

According to this table, the main difference between the MC and MD Rokkor 24mm's are that the MD goes to f22 vs f16. Same optical formula, until the last one (plain MD went from 9/7 to 8/8). The 135 is bit harder to narrow down, as I dont see a listing for a MC Rokkor, only MC/MD Tele-Rokkors. Looks like the earlier MC ones with 5 waffle rows were 6/5 (first one without a built-in hood), and then when they went to 7 waffle rows, 4/4. The first two iterations of the MD were also 4/4, then went to 5/5 and got about 7mm shorter.

Unfortunately no direct experience with either, but without changing the optical formula, IQ shouldn't be affected greatly.
