I think it's Minolta's way of saying 6 element in 5 groups. If yours does not have PF, it's probably newer MD.

I feel ripped off now. I paid $42 for mine, plus tax. I've got this image posted elsewhere on the site, but it's my best picture with this lens. Cropped pretty heavily.
The RokkorX was used for "US sold" lens. I paid $75 for a PG 1.4 that came withe extension tubes. Lens is worth it.

I have the MD version rather than the Rokkor, but it is quite nice too. Only paid $11 for it, which I think it is well worth.
