Fantastic! So much for needing autofocus, Mega OIS, etc. I have the f3.5 version of that lens (recent MD style) so you've given me a target for my holidays!

A few more, also posted in the flying insects/dragonfly thread. This is fast becoming one of my favorite lenses.

    I really like this lens!

I'm a total newbie. I just got this lens and walked around with it. These are shot on Auto because I'm still learning how to use the manual modes. So far, I really like this lens.

This is a fantastic lens. I have the f3.5 version and then found the f2.8 at a junk sale, so have both.

This was taken with the 2.8 on a GH2:

    <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/the_justified_sinner/7396630552/" title="More Crow! 1 by the justified sinner, on Flickr"> 7396630552_101a64032c_z. "640" height="481" alt="More Crow! 1"></a>

    This with the 3.5 on a G1:

    <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/the_justified_sinner/6528584561/" title="Parp! by the justified sinner, on Flickr"> 6528584561_2646986619_z. "640" height="481" alt="Parp!"></a>

Both versions are so very solidly made and the focussing on them is really positive. The length takes a bit of getting used to, though.

I recently picked up a copy of the MC version of the 135mm f2.8 lens and I am shocked at how sharp it is wide open.

Not too impressed by this lens so far. I'm thinking it needs to be stopped down quite a bit for sharpness. I didn't get much from 2.8-4.

Did a little test between aperture settings mounted on a tripod. From what I'm gathering so far, you need to keep the shutter speeds way up on this lens. High ISO is needed for hand-holding (1250 for the geese shot above). Luckily the GX1 does that well! Original sizes on flickr for better comparison.
