Midsummernight in bearhide

    8 bears, (propably 3 or 4 that walked around and came back a few times) visited us at a allnight in a photohide in the middle of sweden.
    It was cloudy so quite tricky photoconditions, but i got some ok pics i think, and even some light to work with at about 04:15 in the morning.










    And this was not from the hide, handheld 300mm F2.8 1/40 iso 1600 on the OMD, thank you IBIS :)

    Great pictures, which lens did you use? I can see you got both the panasonic 100-300 and the canon fd 300. Is the FD lens better IQ then the panasonic, I'm thinking about getting the FD 300 f4 L.

    Nice set...........not much sleep with those hairy beasts around!

    trying to figure out if that is camera shake of nerves because they were too close on some of the shots?:eek:

    Hehe the closest the bear was to the hide was 5-6 meters, but i couldnt get any pic of him then, but it really is adrenaline/scary experiance to be close to a wild bear :)

    I sleept about 20min that night :)
