Who's using manual focus Nikkors on your m43 cameras? What lenses do you have, and what do you recommend?

There is a good thread on here about the old 55 3.5 Micro-Nikkor. I remember that the 50 1.8 was famously flat and sharp, as was the Series E 100 2.8.

I only have the 50/1.4, but I love it.

  6. 50/1.8 E - love it on my Canon DSLR. Haven't tried it on my E-P1 yet but there is no reason why it won't be good on it, too.

I've got a 50/1.8 S-version, but it's going back for aperture repair unfortunately.

I'm thinking about picking up the following:
    85/2
    100/4 Micro
    200/4

I don't know about wider than 50mm, though. It seems rangefinder lenses might be better since they are so much more compact.

  8. SLR lenses up to (down to?) 24mm are fine. 20mm lenses and wider start to significantly increase and size and weight and the cost of them is such that they are not much cheaper than the native 20/1.7 and 17/2.8 anyway.

    1.8 50 AF prime

    3.5-22 35-135 AF Macro

2.5 105 prime (use this and next two with Nikon F mostly)

    2.8 35 prime S

    2.0 50 prime H

The Kit AF 3.3 whatever zoom - do not use.

I have yet to shoot any of these with the Pen EP-2, so cannot comment.

    I just received Metabones adapter...

What can I expect, when I get to it?

Seems like the kit m4/3 lens does good job, so may peddle the lenses.

Most shots were/are BW, unsing 8008s bodies and likely going to sell those, if market, and I can get used to the wee Pen.
