    Hello everyone,

I recently tested a Metz 303 flash on my E-p1 worked fine but on my E-p3, as soon I click it in, the flash automatically shoots and the on light indicator goes off. And as soon as I take it off from the camera the on light indicator goes back on.

I am new on using flash with my digital pen. Does anyone have an idea what is going on?

Beware of using old flash on new body. The trigger voltage on the old flashes is higher then today standard and can cause damage to your camera. You can use a few option for protection:
    Safe sync - http://www.ebay.com/sch/Cameras-Photo-/625/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=Safe+sync

cactus remote v5 - Cactus Wireless Flash Transceiver V5 Duo - Gadget Infinity

The best option if you intend to use flash, is just get a new flash. Manual flash can be get for 50$ and third party TTL can be purchased from 80$.

Thank you. So I have some reading to do before putting this flash on my pens.
