Has anyone noticed the difference in shooting video in M mode versus Movie mode with the M setting?

I just noticed that when I select the Movie mode on the mode dial, then select M in the on screen settings, the highest ISO I can set is 3200.

While if I select M from the mode dial, I can shoot video at 256000 ISO.

I haven't yet looked at the quality of the video produced, but I only noticed it when trying to film indoors with a large DOF using the Panny 20mm f1.8.

Are you sure it actually let you record at that ISO? I tried it on my PEN and when you hit record it automatically switches down to the max allowed for video{on my E-PL2 ISO 1600}.

According to the factory manual the ISO range for video in "M" mode is 200-3200{page 67}.

good question. I guess its possible it opened up the aperture to compensate. I dont think the shutter speed changed when recording began.
