Hi, some of you might remember me I used to take surf photos with the Em5 back in the day..
I was kind of bored by photography ( lost inspiration) so I didn't really use my camera for years. In November my brother had a major operation in his back ( he stayed several months the hospital) and he was always talking about going in the sea again if everything goes back to normal. Fortunetly everything went smooth and he can walk again etc. So, here we are, 2 months later going on a Trip and playing tourists in our own country.

All pics with Em5, 12f/2, 17f1.8 and Rokinon 7.5mm

I'm still impressed by the image quality. Obviously you have to nailed the exposure but wow, it was a joy to use it. Very reliable, compact and powerful.
Thanks for watching.

Make sure to thank your brother for getting better, otherwise we wouldn't have seen these photos ;). It doesn't look like you skipped a beat behind the shutter - well done! Nothing beats kicking around on a piece of ground as beautiful as that!

Thank you ! Yes, we are happy for him and that was a great opportunity to use my trusty Em5 again :)

Absolutely beautiful set of pics.
And another proof for me that I got the right tool.
I've loved the EM-5 from the very first day as I did the OM-4 (a good and reliable companion for over 15 years).

Regardless of camera gear the most important thing is to have an eye for finding and composing intresting images and you do have an good eye.

Edit: Im so tired of al the angst over gear that overrun this forum so thread with a story and nice images is quite a treat. Thanks

What Brodan said X 100!!!
Beautiful images Steph! Thanks for some very inspiring images. I'm waiting for the water to get back into the 70's here on the Sea of Cortez so I can get back into the water with my EM5 Mk2 and just an acrylic suit to protect against jellyfish.
