    Hey folks,

I just started playing with an adapted PenF 38mm f/1.8 on my E-M5. It seems to work with the camera in AF mode. Is there any reason I should switch it to MF mode?

    Thanks!

No. The camera just acts like there's no lens.

Yes and if you want to get magnification assist set it on Manual assist and if you have a native lens, touching or twisting the focus pops up magnification. But it doesn't detect the legacy lens. So push fn2 ( I think) twice and magnification assist pops up.
