Glen, pic of the deadfall makes me wonder if you are tromping around in water in 10degF weather.....?

Today wasn't bad. Low 30s and wet snow. I spent a whopping 20-30 minutes there today. Busy day. I could have spent much more.

I arrived this morning with what I would soon find out were three nearly dead batteries.... poor planning on my part. Then my foot broke thru the ice....

It was a truly beautiful morning regardless, but I just didn't get a chance to capture much of it.

These were taken over a span of about 15 minutes on Sunday morning. Such moody and changeable conditions.
Adapted Tamron 28-300 lens.

Thanks... that eye definitely comes with luggage ?. In the case of the last shot, I had to use the tree to blunt out the sun so I could get the shadows in the mist on the water. My timing was off.
