On further inspection, I do not like those two angled branches on the right in the top image. They actually annoy me. I saw them, but it didn't or bother me at the time. I may try for a do over .. It's it's supposed to be overcast again tomorrow so maybe I'll get lucky....

Cool shots! Keep at it. When you get that computer booted up, you can fix the ones with the wonky horizons... lol

Thanks. I recently got the computer going... its excruciatingly slow, which isn't surprising considering its age. Not sure where I'll go from here.

Going to tell more . . . . ?
Ha. Dave is referring to news that he and a few others in our little chat group know already. That photo got first place in ametur general photography in the fall contest.
I struggled with the fall contest, both with imagery and time. Not having any pics I truly loved, I punted and submitted that and one other (the smoky, foggy sunripe pic) when the 11/30 deadline approached.
The first place was a complete shock to me.

What a wonderful documentary series! Well done!
Thank you.

I haven't been hanging out here that much lately and truly apologize for missing this thread. Very well done Glen and especially I've always liked your low light images and simple compositions.

Thanks Sandy, and no need to apologize. I'm a bit sporadic here as well, depending on how much I've been out with the camera, and how often I need inspiration from others' work.

Back for more fun and games. I went out this morning with low expectations. I've found that when I've been away for a while that I need time to reacquaint myself with the place. Plus the weather forecast correctly predicted clear skies, so no epic sunrise shots. The intent was to get some snow pictures as we don't generally get a lot here, and if we do it doesn't stay long. That was a bust also.
When the big picture is not good I often gravitate to details.
