I want to get a Magazine subscription, but don`t know whats good.
I live in the boon docks in Japan so a bookstore is no help.

I want something with international shipping that won`t break the bank( my bank is small)
I have seen a few on the net but don`t want to fork out the cash without knowing if it`s suitable for me.

I dont know a lot, so a mag with tips + tricks and good projects
to try. Minimal gear reviews, as said bank is small and wont be buying much
after my next body. least not for a while.

I like taking pics of outdoors and landscapes and sometimes people.
I have the oly. 60mm macro and would like to get into that a little more.
A general mag thats covers different things would be best I think.

And I prefer print to digital.

Try your library? Should be free, different mags on offer, and possibly also offer free online access (my library uses zinio). While i prefer print to digital generally, I'm finding it easy to 'snapshot' a page on my tablet if i see something i want to save/remember. I gave up on actual mag subscriptions some time back because i realised I'd read them once and never again. Seemed a waste. Can always donate older mags, but also found one mag a month was too much and i didn't have enough time to properly read cover to cover. Library means i can pick one or more up when i get the whim.

I`ll check out F11, see how that goes. But I prefer to have something to hold take with me, etc.
And I have no suitable device to download them to.

My library has Camera books and some mags. That I flick through sometimes.
But it`s all in Japanese and not much good to me.
