M43 Shutter Shock Revisited OMD-EM5

    I have previously reported on the issue of shutter shock with the Panasonic GH2 and a selection of lenses. I have now published a new review of shutter shock affecting the Olympus EM5 and two Olympus lenses.     Interesting, but his "ultimate solution" of a global electronic shutter introduces issues of it's own. Google "electronic shutter and blooming", or maybe "image sensor and blooming."

    It sounds like shutter manufacturers need to come up with better damped shutter mechanisms.
