I'm enjoying a Voigtlander 35mm f/2.5 on my OM-D, but I'm finding that the Rainbowimaging M mount adapter I'm using was a little over zealous in their aim at allowing for infinity focus. I have infinity focus and then some. And that's great, but their caution has also resulted in a much longer minimum focusing distance than the 70cm that the lens is supposed to have. It's more like 90cm...which is nearly an 8 inch loss. And that's unacceptable to me.

    Any suggestions for an alternative...?

Well, I still haven't decided what I'm going to do, but I did decide to write a little blog post with my thoughts about this problem...

I'd just get a higher quality adapter. I'd go for either one of these three: Panasonic, Novoflex, or Voigtländer. Out of these, I have only tried the Novoflex, and that one was excellent; Very solid as well as nice and precise fit... Used it to test two lenses, the 35/1.4 Lux and 75/2.5.
