I haven't had much time to use my new lx100 but I took it as my sole camera on a trip. I found nearly 80% of the time when I Zoom it will freeze and give me a "zoom error" message. I have to power cycle to clear it. Makes it nearly unusable. Any others have this problem? Works fine otherwise....

Played around a bit more today. It always happens at 41mm focal length and the message is "System Error (zoom)". I can't zoom past that any more!

SO ANNOYING. I guess I'll stick to wide shooting!

That definitely sounds like something that needs to be fixed. Is it under warranty?

There might just be something wrong with the zoom sensor...

Usually it means some gears on the power zoom are jammed.

Hmm, there r numerous things wrong. I just contacted Panasonic and they said they need proof of purchase from an authorized retailer. Man I hope the eBay seller is that!!!
