backordered, but still...
Yeah, I ordered one of these this morning. I wrote about it here but should have posted it in the deals section:
It's typical of the Panasonic site that the LX100 is back ordered. But I think it's a great deal even if it takes three months to get the camera.
All I see is the $899.
Panasonic EPP just redirect to shop panasonic, no more EPP?
I have to access the Panasonic site from my computer at work in order to log into my EPP account. Now, members of the general public can sign up for something called Club Panasonic. I'm not sure if it will give you the same price. But if you just access to site like anyone else, all that you can see is the $899 price.
They took down the EPP specific site 1 or 2 years ago and merged with the public shop panasonic.
EPP pricing will show after you log in with your work email and your employer is their partner.
Has this worked for anyone else yet? Did anyone else order the LX100 at the lower price?
I used to get EPP pricing based on some kind of Facebook promo that Panny did once upon a time, but that seems to be gone now. I see $899. I think tg9413's post explains it. The bad news is that I now have a Facebook account for no reason whatsoever...
I still see it after logging in as EPP.
You need to register for an account with your work email. If your workplace has the program, it should automatically register you as a member of EPP.
The same site has the FZ1000 for the same price. EPP pricing, of course. Just an FYI to anyone who may care.
Hmmm . . . $125 off? Apparently membership does have its privileges!
More like over $200 off - $674 vs. $899.
I wish they would adopt that lens for MFT.
I would also love that lens for MFT!
Duh! Another reminder to avoid math before breakfast . . .
I checked the pricing at the Panasonic site for EPP pricing, to be honest I had totally forgotten about it. Anyway there are a couple of decent deals there, you can buy new for the price of used in some cases. The FZ1000 at $674 is a good deal based on used prices. The 14-140 II is $524, they are difficult to find used at that price as well. Maybe the best deal of all, the G6 with lens under $500 is very fair. Just FYI for those with an EPP account.
