Hello, I have the Lumix 1000 m2 zoom camera. I cannot figure how to save settings in the custom mode...Please help. JB

Your FZ1000 is a very nice camera, and should serve you well. I've recommended it to a couple of people who have been pleased with it.

However, I'm an Olympus user, so cannot help you much.

Read the manual! If necessary, download a full manual in PDF format and keep it on your phone, tablet, etc.

I'm not familiar with whether Panasonic ship a printed manual, or not.

If not, print it so that you can read it at your leisure, with the camera in your hands and the manual open at the relevant part.

Someone familiar with your camera will come along soon. They will be able to help you more than I can.

I also don’t know for sure on your camera, but on the G9, you get your setup to what you want, then go into the menu, under the wrench (3rd option for me), and then look for cust. set. mem and select your desired C slot. The trick is to set things up in non-C mode, and then save it. C mode won’t remember your last setting, so you can’t start there.
