    Hi All,

Does anyone have a recommendation on where (online in the uk) to order a spare (front) panasonic lens cap. Any links, or model numbers etc appreciated please :).

For anyone interested, it was a sterotypical moment at the zoo, luckily it was just the cap that fell into the cage!

    +Ideally an official one please

Check ebay. I've gotten fake Panasonic caps that look and work fine.

Just get a generic lens cap found at any store or online.....

I don't even both with lens caps anymore.

Ebay's great for lens caps, I replaced all mine with centre-pinch caps so you can use them without moving the lens hood.

Delivery time's tedious at 10-20 days but you can't argue with £1-2 per lens cap. Might be worth paying a little more if you can find a UK-based seller, that'll arrive in a couple of days if they say so.

You just need to match the diameter listed on the front of your lens.

Keep in mind that a G3 is not a lens so it can't accept a lens cap. The lens cap you lost is not for the G3 but is, instead, for the lens that you have attached to your G3. Be sure you know which lens you have and what size cap it takes before you purchase a replacement.

IMHO, while you are at it buy two. You'll loose one again. The little buggers have a nasty habit of wandering off while you aren't looking.

Avatar=me looking for a lost lens cap some 60 years ago; I still haven't found it although I still have the flash unit that's in my had.

You'll need to verify correct part number.
The part numbers are found in your manual.

VYF3201 (im assuming you have a 14-42 lens, you should double check)

if it is, then here is the link:

I have used this site before, yes its legit.
