Just noticed yesterday the hot shoe cover was gone. I was surprised it was so loose to be gone completely and I do not have an external flash.

Anyhow, I am in Canada and Panasonic Canada does not have this part for ordering (go figures!).

Panasonic USA National Parts can order this but charging between $25-$40 for shipping and they are using UPS which means I have to pay brokerage fee for clearing customs.

I prefer to order from online store which may cut down on the cost.

Any ideas where I can get this part?

I just ordered a plain of' black one from Amazon Prime, $2.99 for 2. I'll live without the matching color on my panda GX7.

Yeah, definitely go for a no-name generic one from wherever you can find it. Amazon, eBay, whatever.

Personally, I don't even think a hotshoe cover is particularly important in the first place. Old cameras certainly never had them.

You can get nice ones for just a few bucks on eBay that have a bubble level in them.
They're made of a flexible rubbery material (not hard plastic) and stay on really well.
The ones I'm referring to are black and very low profile, almost flat.
Not the big blocky colored plastic ones.
