I know DXG is a bargain basement brand and I wouldn't touch it. There are plenty of those small pocket video cams that will do the exact same thing for half that price. I would try searching amazon for hd pocket video camera rather using the term camcorder, there are a ton of them, most take microSD cards and have much better reviews as well.

My HF100 holds up ok compared to my GH1 or 2 as long as I don't use any aux lenses like a 0.6x wide or a tele-converter.

Um, you have a GH2. Why don't you use that for videos? Or am I missing something?

    Yea you are missing something.
Look at the original post again.. specifically these parts:
I think , basically he is looking for an additional camera that he can just leave in a one spot for the duration of the event . But he would like it to cost around two hundred dollars and have as high a resolution as possible so he can edit its footage into a video with footage from his other two High resolution cameras he listed.

Correct me if i am wrong OP.

Now, My suggestion is that you pick up a Panasonic G3 that B&H has on sale right now I know you wanted two hundred for a price range but for just one hundred dollars more you will have a great backup camera and you can play into the lens system you already have with your GH2.

You are correct about what im looking for.

I grabbed that camcorder for $125 Shipped. Im also thinking on getting one more GH2 to get another angle.

I'm getting a LLC and Tax Id next week so I can write this stuff off :)

Ill wait until then to buy the GH2

Thanks for the Help and sorry for being in the wrong area for asking my question. At least I got a response unlike DVXusers
