First try with long exposures. I feel like I failed. San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge (new span)

ISO 200 32mm F/20 21 seconds. crazy moon burst. Out of camera.

    _3160440-1.
Same pic with minor editing in Lightroom
    _3160440.

Chasing lights. Out of camera. Pretty happy with this one. (raw image converted to jpeg in lightroom)
    ISO 200 40mm F/16 21 seconds
    _3160484.

Can't wait to have free time to try it again. Feel free to leave your suggestions and criticism.

I like what you did here. I've been meaning to work on a few of these myself but have been distracted by other projects (and a very cold winter). Thanks for sharing!

Yes, the 12-40 does create some CRAY-ZEE flare when light rays enter the glass just right. I thought it was just my use of f/2.8 to f/5.6 in some of my own night shots, but I see you're getting the same even at f/20. I'm simply taking it as part of the "character" of the lens. Oh well…. :hmmm:
