I never thought that the practice of law would become an "at home" deal but it is slowly transitioning into that with some still necessary appearances. Already our Continuing Legal Education has many topics about how to do it without jeopardizing client confidentiality. I still am appointed by the Courts to represent those with physical, mental, or age infirmities to safeguard their settlements in medical negligence or large personal injury cases. This still requires me to visit banks in person to set up the accounts but I think it will also soon become an internet event.
