Hit good 'ol London town with the family.

I had purchased the O9-18 (again) in the summer for something else. Was thinking of selling it, but kept it. Glad I did -- it was a workhorse in London.

Travel options for today's photog are just incredible.

Tooled about town with the O9-18, P20, P45-150 -- super lightweight kit in a Domke f5xb bag -- and a Sony RX100 on a belt pouch. Killer, lightweight combo that neither phone, nor DSLR (nor even my Sony a7) can touch for quality, convenience, and size/weight.

Great shots! I like your city shots with the city decorated for Christmas.

My wife and I went to London earlier this year (end of June) for our honeymoon, and it was fantastic. We spent 4 days in the city, and 2 days down in the southern part of England for the Goodwood Festival of Speed. There are a number of great photo spots around the city, and it's super easy to get around with the Tube.

I don't want to hijack your thread, but if you're interested, here's the link to the thread I created when I got back (link).

Smart of you to take the Pany 20 with you, I always take that wherever I travel and I reckon it rendered the best image out of all of those shots.

I forgot to ask WT21, what made you take M43 gear for this trip? (you have an A7 as well don't you?).

It's when people say things like this that I realise my A7 GAS lust is just that - GAS.

Great shots BTW - hope you enjoyed London despite the weather (it'a always lousy this time of year). I love the one of St Paul's.

Yeah, earlier this year I thought about moving to an A7 II for all of my primes (using adapted Canon FD lenses), but just handling the PL15, PL25, and P42.5 made me realize just how small and light the m43 primes are. This is especially convenient when traveling, as size and weight is very important.

I do like my a7 for some takumar primes, and the 70-200/4 but it is not my main camera, nor my travel cam
