And a bit of sun too. Didn't want to post in a load of different threads so just put them all here in a new one. :)

Images taken with either the Olympus 60mm F/2.8 (not your usual street lens but I like to challenge myself) and the Panasonic 20mm F/1.7, each mounted on the EM5.

Awesome shots. I'm taking a trip to London early next year. Can't wait. :)

That is some nice street photography. You certainly are thoughtful about your shots. More than I do surely. I'm a little too happy with the trigger finger.

That's my town. I don't know what it is exactly, but there's something about that place which just encourages and improves ones photography. All great shots, but wonderful first shot and ace composition on the second.

Having worked in London countless times, the traffic chaos, extortionate parking charges and the general 'hustle n bustle' have always put me off going back there for a pleasure visit, though I'm sure that without the car and work pressures, it's a completely different experience. It must be a photo enthusiasts paradise. Great shots, including those on the blog. They make me question my choices, though I doubt I could ever capture anything thing this good. The first one is my favourite but I really like them all. Great work

It is a haven for photography but I've shot London to death so finding new shots is always the creative challenge. Many thanx! :)

  12. Excellent group of photos. I'm curious as to which were taken with the 60mm?

Thank you for sharing. Very nice set....good eye! Am curious what processing you used, the clouds in the scapes are quite dramatic!

    I don't get it.

    1. Did you take in RAW or JPG?
    2. If RAW, are these photos processed?
    3. If processed, what program and settings?
    4. If JPG, how the heck did you get these photos so nice?

Been shooting for a while and still can't get shots to look like this...

All colour shots were RAW, processed in Lightroom. Mostly contrast and colour adjustments. Some dodging and burning; selective shadow enhancements highlight reductions. Frame and watermark applied as an action in CS6.
B+W shots are JPGs straight from the B+W Art Filter on the EM-5.

I agree, processing looks unique (in a good way). Nice job!
