I've been running over to this pond in the afternoon during my work-at-home lunch break. I really need to go when there's enough time to sit quietly in a good location and let them come out. These things see me coming from a mile away and slip into the water long before I can get close. I end up shooting through brush and branches.

Here are a few pictures of some baby chameleons that are about a day old. Their mother has lived in our greenhouse for several months. We noticed she was getting fat and thought that it was due to her eating so well - since our pest problem decreased as her tummy increased. We were very surprised to find her much slimmer yesterday afternoon and these little ones moving all about. There were a total of nine baby chameleons.

All of the photos were taken with E-pl 5, Oly 45mm 1.8, and DCR-150 (handheld)

I've posted photos of these Terrapins before. I went out again today for a walk and they are still alive and kicking. This log is where they usually sun themselves, unfortunately there is no way to get any closer to get a better shot. 2nd photo is a crop of the 1st.
