    Nice and sharp but it feels a bit dark to me.

    Are you saying that the tone of the photo is "dark" or that the Lily is underexposed?
    I'm just trying to get a handle on your feedback.

    I like burying the backgrounds of my flower shots under a layer of darkness. Just feels less cluttered to me. Unless the background serves a strict purpose I'd rather eliminate it. Goes double for "busy" backgrounds.

    I also think the lily seems underexposed..not noisy or lacking details but it comes off as grey instead of white.

    I meant that it seems underexposed. I like dark backgrounds, but the flower is lost in the darkness. I wasn't sure if you intended a certain mood or if it was underexposed.

    Thanks for the feedback guys.

    I'll play around with it this weekend and see what I think. I'll repost it if I like brighter.
