hi...I've taken some photos with the silhouette setting on my GF2, after I imported them to lightroom, I saw a preview of what it looked like with the silhouette setting and then after a sec lightroom changed it(brightened it up more). I dont think lightroom is recognizing the silhouette setting from my GF2.

does anyone know whats going on?? please help

    Are you shooting RAW?

Things like your silhouette setting are applied to jpegs, and also to your screen display, but not to RAW data. There's a small jpeg preview embedded in RAW files and that's what Lightroom would have shown as you loaded the image but as soon as the file has loaded Lightroom will generate it;s own preview based on the RAW data which won't include the silhouette settings.

aww that sucks....yes I did shoot in RAW.

They looked really in preview mode on the camera. But a sorta figured a way around to get the same effect back, just move the contrast levels to darken as much as needed to replicate the effect.

    Thanks for the explanation.
