Waves washing over the lower portion, so I stayed up on the higher portion

Heard a spu-looosh, right as was taking the selfie

Wave splashed against the higher part.
Yep, that one got me. Got splashed from head to toe (Just a splash, not enough to knock/push me at all) seemed to come from above.

Has been colder and more waves since, so ice formation, pics from today are in "Winter Scenes"

Kayu Putih Beach is the local beach for us when we stay at the Mayaloka Villas in Seminyak, Bali. Not exactly a pristine Perth beach but it is known for its sunsets.

We visited Bali in October 2018.

Despite living only two hours' drive from a beach, I rarely go.When I visited this beautiful place, I was set upon by horse flies and didn't even make it onto the wet part! They can have their beach.
