Nothing to do with politics or capitalism, just a couple from outside the Liberty Bell and inside Reading Terminal market...

The inconspicuous E-P2

Love the feel of that first diner shot. Very nice.

Ray, I really like the processing or should I say style with which you've "printed" these!

The security guard resting, just to the right of The Liberty Bell is a good one - it appears that only one of the other people in the scene is actually looking at the bell. It's also good to see him in a different view in your second - with the reflections and the host of different languages shown on that audio station.

Love the cheesesteak diner scene - wonder if you tried it cropping up above that chopping block as it seems that if you did this scene would really hit a home run - there's so much going on and I think closing in would add to the feeling I get of almost overhearing what's going on.

Great suggestion BBW - thanks! I agree it really improves it - makes it more intimate. Your wish is my command....

BTW, the cheesesteaks are across the corridor. This place, Dinics, doesn't do cheesesteaks. They specialized in roast pork sandwiches. Right after I took the shot, I sat down next the cop at the end and had one myself, with long hots - mmmmm, mmmmm, mmmmm! Worth the trip to the city all by itself.

:bravo-009: Thanks Ray, and I agree with you - this really sings now! I can smell that roast pork!

Must get down there. I should meet up with you and our other Philly area pals and much our way around with occasional photography breaks.

This looks wonderful Ray.

Thanks Don. I don't get into Philly that often - these were shot a couple of weeks ago along with some others I've shown the last couple of weeks. It just takes me a while to find my way through a bunch of images sometimes and figure out which ones might be worth hanging on to. It sometimes takes a few passes to find value in some of them and those often end up being my favorite images from a given shoot. Given some of the same subject matter, I don't see a lot of the subtleties that you pick up so well, but its sure fun looking for my own version...
