Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day has been doing a new cover every Monday during the quarantine - "No Fun Mondays". Here's I Think We're Alone Now, originally by Tommy James and the Shondells.

I stumbled across this while looking for something else - All I can say is 'WOW" -
This unidentified guy and his Country Club brings out the best of 'That Great Gretsch Sound"
This is a cover of Honky Tonk a mid '50s R&B hit by Bill Doggett that became his theme song -
On the original the fabulous Billy Butler was the guitar player - He also co wrote it -
Give a listen to the original and I bet that if you are old enough it will bring back memories -
Just about every rock and roll band covered it when I was in high school -
I was fortunate to see Bill Doggett in his prime in Montreal at the Esquire Show Bar -
This is a wonderful cover -
