Lenses for portraits and nudes

    I just wrote this:


    It's about gear for portraits and nudes. And I found it hard to recommend M4/3 because you can't easily blur backgrounds.

    Despite the smaller sensor, it might help if they just would put out a good portrait/figure lens, such as a 50mm 1.4.

    I would really do that, if it were me. It can't be *that* expensive, and it would really help many to take the platform seriously.

    Panasonic has the 20mm F1.7, which is same FOV as a 40mm lens.

    A Canon 35mm F1.8 or 35mm F1.5 in LTM would work well, equivalent to a 70mm on a full-frame 35.
