Lensrentals.com is a company that I've rented from before (for the pricier lenses that I don't want to buy/resell). I tried a 25/0.95 Nokton from them for example. They also pub articles, and this is an interesting one on lens variation. Basically, the article uses lens testing to establish the range of variation amongst lenses, with variation evident in primes, but even more so in zooms. It's an interesting read, IMO.
