There's a bit more noise with the Rokkor. I've noticed that with many of my pictures. Otherwise, I am pretty happy with all three lenses. That original kit lens looks great.

Wait, I need to throw in my 14mm panny into the mix.

Obviously, I had to get right up in the bottle business with the 14mm. So, no very scientific. But interesting nonetheless.

At what focal point does diffraction begin to occur on an EPL1?

BTW, this was just intended to be fun, not scientific. Just killing time.

I've seen the same basic idea many places - :43: platform starts hitting diffration about f/8 or so. This is one of my biggest frustrations so far in the :43: world, especially when a zoom lens is f/6.3 wide open.

I redid the test with a different subject at f5.6. I also cropped them to just fit the subject in the frame.
