Thanks for the welcome!

I believe it will be of the (cheaper) 45mm design, priced right in between the pana 20 and 25. Without a faster aperture or weather sealing, I don't think they would ever get away with putting it in the same position as the pana 25.

In regards to the 'norm' of other systems to not have ws primes, wouldn't that put Olympus at even more of a unique advantage to offer a high quality, capable AND compact weather sealed camera?

I'm also worried that, with every non-ws lens released, I'm being priced out of future ws lenses that will undoubtedly come in at higher price points (which is why the price of the first 75-300 was really worrisome). Admittedly my perception is a bit skewed since I bought the 14-54 and 50-200 mk1 at very used prices and doubt I will see the u4/3 equivalents cost anywhere near what I paid.

Revisiting this thread as I update the lens table for August, it's kind of interesting to see just how few new lenses we're seeing, vs. updates of existing lenses (most of which are purely cosmetic). None of the new Panasonic lenses from the roadmap have an ETA yet, nor do the Schneiders or Tamron. I'd say 2013 has so far been a pretty forgettable year lens-wise...

Olympus:
17/1.8, 45/1.8 and 75/1.8 are now available in black.
75-300/4.5-6.8 II has an updated barrel and price, but identical optics to mk1.

Panasonic:
20/1.7 mk2 has a new lens barrel, and is now available in gray.
14-42/3.5-5.6 mk2 has new optics, but covers identical range to the 14-42/3.5-5.6
14-140/3.5-5.6 has new optics, but covers identical range to the 14-140/4-5.8

Sigma
60/2.8 is a new design.
