I would like to try a lens reversal adapter with my some of my legacy Minolta lenses to do some macro work. Most of my Minolta lens have 52mm filter threads.

Would I still use the lens adapter before attaching the the reversing adapter.

Do I need an Minolta mount to 52mm lens reverser adapter or do I need a micro four thirds mount to 52mm reversing adapter.

You will need "XX mm reverse adapter to m43 mount" where XX is whatever the filter diameter of your lens.
You may also need any adapter to drive aperture or any other essential parameter of lens. E.g. Canon FD lens require adapter for aperture ring to work properly.
Consider to use some extension rings/tubes in between of lens and adapter.
