Will it be a true Leica, or a re branded Panasonic?

Probably a non-red dot branded cam with poor iso and color space ;-) and cost 2x too much.

    Gotta read the first line

"Details are scant, but the camera will feature an imaging sensor at least as large as an APS-size,"

Obviously not a Panasonic branded camera... that's unless Panasonic will also release an larger than APS sensor equipped camera.

Hopefully this is the solution R-system users have been looking for.... or perhaps a "baby" S of sorts.

Personally... I'm 100% skeptical. Leica is already overwhelmed trying to meet demands for the S, X, M and their perpetually out of stock lenses.

I would say it would be on the style of the x1 but with changeable lenses, I was wondering why they were bringing out m43 lens, maybe they will see how the sale of that goes and if the market is good !

Ummm .... wasn't the M9 like the original mirrorless compact system camera?

Interesting problem for Leica. What price point to start dipping into a larger pool of users?
