Well, Leica had 4K video. Now it's a matter of pride for Olympus.:drama:

    It's a BEAST!!

Look at the 90-280mm zoom, it's like a foot long.

Where does the information about the Panasonic connection come from?

Not sure why you'd get this over some A7 or other... other than the usual Leica reasons.

Wow, that 4.4MP EVF... That definitely adds a new and exotic feature. I wonder if that would be considered "retina" worthy resolution (ala Apple devices).

If Panasonic really partner with Leica on this project, then I believe Panasonic will have FF in it's mirror-less line up sooner or later.

Not that I'm in the market, or have the $$$$$, for the thing, but, even if I did, not for me - it is BIG! Very noticeable on the street. FWIW just picked up a used Panny GX1 which will pair with a 20 mm pancake. A little more in my league - just a little less expensive and a little more discreet!

So it seems. Here compared to a similar lens set up on an Olympus camera (admittedly the M.Zuiko has more reach and constant f2.8)

That 90-280 looks so big! Now that's a way to compensate for your shortcomings.

Your wallet will be lightened by at least the same amount of muscle you'll have to put on to carry that beast. Alright, 50 reps of those handweights and 10 deadlifts! Or, just carry the camera around for 30 min.

It may be the world's fastest camera, but seriously?! :)

With 90-280 it's clearly a bodybuilder on safari. One can kill elephant with such lens in self-defense.

The size along with the ergonomics look awful. I can't imagine using this camera professionally nor as an enthusiast.

Camera is really ugly but this 90-280 lens doesn't look so bad, at least on "paper".
Such big zoom with F/2.8-4 aperture isn't common. It could be very useful for sport or wildlife.

    Crikey that's just E N O R M O U S .. and $12.5k with a 24-90 f2.8-f4 lens. I know that whenever anything has the red dot on it reason goes out the window - but ... really??
