Well, as close as I'll ever get to owning a Leica.

Thrift store find. Useless, but too cute to leave there.

Why do you say useless? It isn't a working copy?

OK, not completely useless, I suppose. As useful as a 4mp cellphone's camera. It works, but zero adjustments for anything. No removable memory card, 32MB (not GB) storage. But it is cute. :)

See I read that it or maybe another model that looked the same took a 2GB card. Either way, very cool. Nice find.

    P.S. I can't see your image

Just curious - is it a fixed lens? What are the two levers on the front of the body used for? At least it has a better lens than a 4mp cell phone.

Yes, the lens is fixed - fixed-focus, too. The front levers are decorative. The film-advance lever moves, but does nothing. Two functioning buttons altogether - the power button on the back, and the shutter release button.

Yeah Minox has the DCC Leica M3 5MP version that takes the memory cards and has an accessory flash mount and everything. It looks great, I nearly got one in gold when I went to Hong Kong but decided against it as it really is just way too limited.

It looks great but the form is far superior to it's function.

On a side note I went and got a Pentax Q! It's small, and imo a very capable camera after having played with it for a couple of days.
